Responsibilities
- Communication with Painters, Builders, Homeowners, HBS Sales staff and suppliers to work through customer job needs.
- Quoting of products using our POS system.
- Presenting job quotes through email correspondence.
- Keep store clean, stocked, and well merchandised at all times.
- Assist and participate in HBS events including occasional evening events.
- Attend trainings and take advantage of self-learning opportunities to increase knowledge and stay up to date on changes.
Qualifications
- Computer and technology skills including:
- Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Quoting software
- Researching and gathering of technical information on websites
- Good knowledge of lumber, building materials and hardware.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work with a team.
- Ability to work independently.
- A strong focus on exceeding customer expectations.
